5th and 6th Grade

5/6th Grade Program

At Church of the Lakes all of our youth programs are Christ Centered. We also work to create an atmosphere where 5th and 6th graders can learn about our faith while having a fun time. There are a variety of options and staff to allow for each youth to find something to meet their interests.

Sunday School:

9:30- This class works through lessons of the Bible over a two year cycle. In addition, they use hands on activities to learn about the Bible. The class also works on small mission projects for shut-ins and other groups of the Church.

11:00- This class works through various Bible lessons. This group works in a discussion format.

WOW: During the fall and the winter our 5/6th graders are invited to join the Church's WOW (Wonderful Opportunities on Wednesdays) program. This group meets on Wednesday night from 5:30-7:00pm. The 5/6th graders eat together as a group with an adult. The group then goes to a special Bible study which includes games, Bible lessons, and Bible games.

Bi-Monthly Gatherings:

April 7, 2013--Easter Party (3:00 to 4:30 at the Church)

June 2, 2013--Lunch and Water Fun  (12:00 to 1:30pm)
