Church of the Lakes strives to be "Christ’s Light for All." We are a diverse and growing United Methodist congregation serving the Jackson Township area of Canton, Ohio. (Click here for directions) Founded in 1956, we now have more than 1000 adult members. On Sundays, over 700 people gather at our three services for praise and celebration. The congregation has a strong foundation in our heritage, and a vibrant vision of the future to prepare new generations to live as disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ.

A Call is "God's personal invitation for me to work on His agenda using the talents I've been given in ways that are eternally significant." God has called people through out time - imperfect people, those who had made mistakes, and those who had no idea what they were getting into. However, through God's grace we know that God invites us to serve and then shows us the way to follow. We are not perfect, we don't have all the answers, but we know that we belong to God and that God calls each of us by name.
