Bryan has served Church of the Lakes since the summer of 1996.  Bryan is a graduate of Ohio Northern University, the Candler School of Theology at Emory University (M.Div.) and received his doctorate at Asbury Theological Seminary.  Previous pastorates include Cuyahoga Falls First United Methodist (Associate Pastor) and Lorain First United Methodist.  He and his wife Amy have three children; Joelle, Luke and Stacy.   

Nancy serves as Pastor of Spiritual Formation at Church of the Lakes.  She is a graduate of Mount Union College, Ashland Theological Seminary (M. Div.) and Perkins School of Theology (D. Min.).  Nancy served as pastor of Christ UMC in Canton for 12 years and at Church of the Lakes as a seminary intern from 1992-1994.  She and her husband Mike have three children: Jeff (Beth Ann), Jennifer (Taylor), and Melissa.  They have four grand daughters: Emily, Sarah, Grace, and Hannah.  

Janet has served Church of the Lakes since March of 2000. She and her husband Jim have one daughter, Debbie. Janet is a graduate of Malone college, and has her MA in Christian Ministries from Wheaton College. 

Christine has served Church of the Lakes since 1980.  She directs the Chancel, Sanctuary and Asbury Choirs, Adult and Youth handbells as well as the Children's chimes.  She oversees other musical groups as well.  Christine is a graduate of Mt. Union College and has done postgraduate work at Akron University.  She does extensive solo work throughout the community and has made a recording with fellow COTL member, Sue Hirschman. She has been a clinician for choral and handbell workshops statewide and regionally.  When not at church you can often find her with her Golden Retriever, out and about.

Lynda and her husband Mike have led the CBJ Contemporary Service since July of 2000. Lynda and Mike have two children; Chris and Angela.

Jan has served Church of the Lakes since October, 1991 and is not only accomplished on our Kegg Pipe Organ but is also an excellent piano player.  Jan teaches in the Lake School District.  Jan and her husband Bob have three children. 

Mark is in his fifty-fifth year of ministry and is in his tenth year as part time Minister of Membership Care at the Church of the Lakes where he assists his son, Bryan.  Mark retired from the active ministry in 1995 after serving for eleven years as Administrative Assistant to the Bishop in the East Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church.   Previous appointments included twenty six years as a local church pastor and four years as a District Superintendent.  He is a graduate of Asbury College and Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.  He received his Honorary Doctor's degree from Asbury College in 1985.  He has been married for fifty-five years to his wife, Gaynalee.  They are the parents of three adult children and the grandparents of seven grandchildren.

A native of England, Diana has served Church of the Lakes since 1998. She enjoys spending time with her husband Johnny and two children; Stephanie and Nicholas.

Bill became our Small Group Coordinator in 1997 and has extensive experience in small group formation and function.  Bill has been a practicing attorney for 25 years.

Cara has served Church of the Lakes since 1997. A graduate of Kent State University, Cara and her husband Paul have a son, Grant and a daughter, Katherine Rose.

Lisa started the Child Care Center in 1998. Having been raised at Church of the Lakes, the Center gives Lisa a chance to realize a vision to serve the children of the area. Lisa and her husband John have two children; Lauren and Johnny.

As Administrative Assistant, Carolyn assists Pastor Bryan and other staff members, works with the Trustees on various issues and maintains the church's computers and server.  Carolyn and her husband, Michael, have two children.  She has a Bachelors degree from The College of Wooster and a Masters degree from Emory University in Atlanta, GA, both in chemistry.

As Volunteer Coordinator, Nancy assists members in identifying and using their gifts for ministry, works with new members to discern where they might exercise their gifts, and organizes methods of recognition and affirmation for volunteers through special events to give thanks. Nancy and her husband, Rob, have one son, Danny.
