We believe the light of Jesus Christ is God's message of love, forgiveness, hope and wholeness for all. Our mission is to enable people to know Christ and make Christ known through worship, prayer, fellowship, discipleship and service.



Dr. Bryan George Senior Pastor	Church of the Lakes strives to be "Christ’s Light for All." We are a diverse and growing United Methodist congregation serving the Jackson Township area of Canton, Ohio. Founded in 1956, we now have more than 1000 adult members. On Sundays, over 700 people gather at our three services for praise and celebration. The congregation has a strong foundation in our heritage, and a vibrant vision of the future to prepare new generations to live as disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ.
